Ritual

At Havurah we have many diverse Jewish backgrounds so we strive to offer a wide array of worship/T’filah opportunities.

Shabbat services are held at 10am on Saturdays roughly twice a month. Occasionally,  we substitute a shorter Shacharit service, followed by Torah study.

Friday Evening Kabbalat Shabbat services are held at 6:15pm and are often tied to holiday celebrations like Sukkot or Chanukah. We also have Tot Shabbat for young families, Hebrew School led services, Poetry Shabbat and other special services throughout the year.

We hope to add more alternative options to our ritual calendar such a meditative services, musical Shabbat celebrations, spiritual hikes, and outdoor worship for those less inclined to attend formal services, or for those just looking to try something new.

Please check our Community Calendar for exact dates of all services.
