Exciting news for our learning program!
To better align our name with the existing successes of the program and the directions in which our community hopes to grow, we are excited to announce our program has a new name and logo!

Our new name, Havurah’s Jewish Learning Community Youth Program (JLC), better reflects our goals as a community of learners. Familiarizing students with Hebrew remains an important part of the program, but our mission extends beyond what children learn to include how they learn. The JLC is grounded in experiential learning while fostering a safe and fun environment for children to enjoy time with other Jewish kids and celebrate their Jewish identity. We will continue to support a variety of different backgrounds, levels of observance, and learning styles. We will seek connection through our shared heritage and explore culture, history, holidays, and T’filah through Hebrew exposure, music, art, food, project-based learning, storytelling, movement and more.
We want Havurah to be a place of lifelong Jewish learning and the JLC Youth Program is just one component of the many exciting opportunities we hope to continue and add to over the coming years.
Registration for Havurah’s JLC Youth Program is now open and our first session is scheduled for Monday, September 28.
